People First has really made me look at many things in different ways. Like how to treat a person with a mental disability. You should use the people first language instead of comments that sound negating towards a person with a mental disability. My most memorable experience with People First was spending time with my partner, Stephen. Stephen and I had many things in common such as we were both die hard Boston Red Sox fans and are favorite movies were the Ace Ventura Pet Detective movies. I now know that people like Stephen can be just as interesting as anyone else you know. This experience will change me for life.
