More reflections on the first day

Today was our first day at our site and it was truely amazing! We meet the consumers and did activites with them such as puzzles and making smoothies. These wonderful people had heart-warming smiles and an superb vocabulary. I enjoyed this site and know that I will continue to enjoy it!

    Hi, my name is Nicole and today I spent the day at an incredible organization called People First. It is a non profit that provides care and programs for people with mental disabilities. Even though it was difficult to communicate with some of the consumers there, I still bonded and had a very memorable experience. We made smoothies together and we danced to Rihanna. The organization needs a new location in order to accommodate all of their consumers and in order to house larger and better events. But, they can not do this without the generosity of our society and our continuous support. I have been touched by this amazing organization and I hope others have too. ~ Nicole
