Many of today’s California teens are making social change and paying it forward in a BIG way.  If YOU are bringing the spirit of Tikkun Olam (repair of the world) to life through philanthropic or social action, we encourage you to nominate yourself (or someone you know) for the 2011 Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Award—five Jewish California teens will each receive $36,000 in recognition of their projects to “repair the world.”

Teens can be nominated by anyone, except family members, including rabbis, teachers, civic leaders, friends—they can even nominate themselves.

The deadline for nominations is December 17, 2010, and the nomination process is easy and simple to do.  You will find nomination forms, videos of previous award recipients and other info at http://www.sfjcf.org/diller/teenawards.
