During the winter of their senior year, Lainer-Masa Fellows in North America attend a conference to connect with their peers and learn about exceptional Jewish education opportunities. This conference is a great way to see old friends and network for the future. Following graduation, Lainer-Masa alumni have pursued graduate degrees in Jewish education and/or communal service; accepted full-time positions in schools, synagogues, Hillels, JCCs, and central Jewish agencies; and some have even returned to Israel for advanced Jewish learning. The Lainer-Masa Fellowship fosters the growth of future generations of Jewish educators.

We employ a wide range of tools and methodologies in order to support our partners and clients in communities and institutions as they seek to accomplish their individual and shared goals in Jewish education. We convene, network, evaluate, advocate, consult, and encourage. We apply innovative ideas, cutting edge technology, proven models, data and practical know-how. We work in teams across disciplines to ensure that we manage internal and external knowledge to maximize the impact of every project.

JESNA is an organization for pluralistic Jewish education. We are resource providers and seek only to help those who ask for it. We do not have our own agenda, we only seek to provide the best resources for Jewish educators and communities. Whether this learning is religious or cultural, text based or a crafts project, JESNA will provide the resources needed to foster learning.

Specifically, the Lainer-Masa Fellowship is a unique opportunity for students already choosing to study abroad in Israel. The course and extracurriculars provide career direction and networking opportunities for students. It is a great addition to a year that is already full of benefits for students. Once back in North America, these students have the ability to stay connected to each other and their experience through the Lainer-Masa Fellowship winter seminar and communication tools.  After they finish the program they are connected to a network of over 800 alumni throughout the world.

David made some calls and was able to help this alumna. Ellie wrote to him, "I am writing to thank you for helping to connect me here in Haifa. I met with Professor Hanan Alexander (long-time friend of the Interns program) and ended up working for the International School of the University of Haifa, where Hanan is the Dean-to-be. I greatly appreciate your willingness and promptness in finding me a contact and someone to speak with. I will be completing my 2nd week here this Thursday and owe you a lot of thanks."
