Our Shabbat Morning Family Programming (SMFP), which is mandatory for Am Yisrael School of Jewish Studies (AYSJS) students and highly encouraged for Day School students, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Participants should report to the following rooms: Tots (babies through 4 years): Room 1, Gan (Kindergarten) through Bet (2nd Grade): Room 2, Gimel (3rd Grade) through Heh (5th Grade): Room 8 and Vav (6th Grade): Reports to the front row of the Sanctuary. Please note that our Tot Shabbat program that used to begin at 10:30 a.m. is now a part of SMFP. Participants in Tot Shabbat should arrive at 9:30 a.m.
Mr. Sherman and Mr. Marc will lead the SMFP participatory service in our newly expanded Resource Room/Library in the lower level of the school building beginning at 10:00 a.m. Family, friends and prospective members are encouraged to join to give us a taste of the wonderfully successful and ruach-filled SMFP. This will be a warm, friendly, hamish morning of a Shabbat experience, followed by light kiddush lunch in the Social Hall.
